Role OverviewThis position is responsible for the Fleet Operations and Maintenance, reporting to the Branch Manager. The job involves service and repair of all fleet vehicles, performing preventive maintenance, and diagnosing and effectively repairing mechanical, engine, and electrical irregularities/malfunctions. The mechanic will also drive automatic and standard shift vehicles for testing, transfer, and pick-up/delivery of parts, and perform inventory and order parts, supplies, as needed.
What You Will Do
Service and repair of all fleet vehicles, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and effectively repair mechanical, engine, and electrical irregularities/malfunctions, drive automatic and standard shift vehicles, and perform inventory and order parts, supplies, as needed.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The position requires 5+ years of experience, preferably in a dealership, with foreign/domestic vehicle experience a plus. The individual must possess a valid driver's license (C or better) and ability to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles from 2,000 to 50,000 lbs. in size.

- Meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations
- Meet DOT standards to achieve brake and annual inspection certifications
