Role OverviewPrimarily working on the road, this role is expected to maintain, repair, and overhaul farm equipment and vehicles. Examine equipment for defects, dismantle defective equipment, and repair or replace defective units using hand and power tools.
What You Will Do
Perform all tasks in a safe manner, maintain shop and equipment in good safe efficient conditions, and ensure that all farm machinery is serviced and maintained on a routine schedule.

Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered equipment, heavy equipment, trucks, or similar machinery.
- Basic fabrication and stick welding skills necessary for standard repair work and simple component modifications.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong equipment/process troubleshooting skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of gasoline and diesel engines.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance-related problems.
