Job Description
Located on the shores of Lake Washington, Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle’s Southport combines natural beauty with modern amenities. A Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility, performing repair and maintenance tasks, and responding to guest calls and colleague work orders.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred
  • Higher level of training preferred
  • Ability to follow all safety procedures/standards are able to recognize and act in emergency situations
  • A minimum of 5 years previous maintenance experience required, preferably in a hotel
  • Extensive electrical, mechanical and plumbing experience needed
  • Ability to be under and follow directions, and perform job functions with limited supervision
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other colleagues
  • Availability to work varying shifts to include evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work a full shift (8 hours) walking and standing
