Role OverviewThe Mechanic ensures the operation of machinery by performing preventative maintenance and repair. The role involves locating sources of problems, removing defective parts, and managing department parts and tool inventories.
What You Will Do
The Mechanic will complete preventative maintenance requirements and repairs for rolling stock, including feed trucks, tractors, and other heavy equipment. They will also manage expenses, maintain shop appearance, and maintain professional and technical knowledge.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of vehicle mechanics and heavy equipment, including diesel engines. They will also have basic knowledge of Word Processing software, Spreadsheet software, and Database software. A valid driver's license is also required.
