Role OverviewJoin Pratt & Whitney at our Columbus Engine Center, where precision meets purpose. As a Mechanic, you’ll play a critical role in the overhaul, repair, and assembly of advanced jet engines that power commercial and military aircraft around the world.
What You Will Do
Work as a member of a team responsible for turbine engine, engine module, or component maintenance in accordance with published work instructions and approved technical data. Utilize common hand tools as well as a wide variety of tooling and fixtures to assemble/disassembly and test a jet engine.

This is a Weekend Shift position: Friday – Sunday 6:30am – 7:00 pm
Requirements
- High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Aviation engine overhaul and repair experience
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License or Powerplant (P) Certificate
- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly, or Turbine Engine Test Operations.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and SAP
