Role OverviewJoin our team as a Mechanic/Vehicle Technician and diagnose and repair gasoline engines and other powertrain components, hydraulic brakes, steering and suspension systems, electrical systems, and diesel emission systems. Our team is a family-owned and operated company with a core business in standard, next-day, ground delivery. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company-wide.
What You Will Do
Diagnose and repair gasoline engines and other powertrain components, hydraulic brakes, steering and suspension systems, electrical systems, and diesel emission systems. Perform routine truck inspections and maintenance of fleet equipment. Help maintain an effective and clean work environment.

Must have own tools or ability to obtain own tools to complete all job functions. Ability to work independently and/or with a team. Must be able to spend a minimum of eight hours on feet. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2 years technical instruction in diesel or auto mechanics is preferred
- Ability to use scan tool and laptop technology
- Ability to follow reasonable instructions from shift leader
- Ability to work independently and/or with a team
- Ability to perform routine truck inspections and maintenance of fleet equipment
- Ability to maintain an effective and clean work environment
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam
