Role OverviewYou'll join a diverse team of engineers to design and innovate data centers, collaborating with internal and external groups to deliver high-quality designs within budget. You'll work on challenging problems, justify technical decisions, and drive continuous advancements in design. As an engineer at Amazon, you'll have the ability to drive change and define/design the systems our customers rely on.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include working with internal teams to understand user requirements, creating data center mechanical designs, collaborating with other disciplines, and defining project scopes. You'll also review and approve equipment submittals, work with commissioning teams, and travel to sites for site review and work with onsite field engineers.

Requirements
- 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities
- 4+ years of commissioning experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities
- Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
