Role OverviewThe Mechanical Design Engineer II within our Production Engineering team is responsible for designing customer specified custom switchgear products to our G&W’s quality standard. This position will specialize in our entire catalog of overhead and underground switchgear products. What You Will Do
Lead and own team project communication, schedule, and all aspects of design cycle of moderately complex projects and customer orders. Provide design competency to industry standards (IEEE, NEC, IEC, ANSI, UL, NEMA, etc.). Design products to internal engineering design standards and best practices within customer lead time and quality expectations.
