Role OverviewThe Mechanical Design Engineer will lead the design and development of automotive instrument clusters and head-up displays. Responsible for reviewing customer requirements, creating comprehensive engineering product design proposals, and delivering engineering presentations to internal and external customers.
What You Will Do
Lead the design and development of automotive instrument clusters and head-up displays, create 3D models and 2D drawings, mentor engineers in optical design and simulation, and ensure development metrics are in compliance with APICE/IATF process requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

- Experience with CAD software (CATIA/UG)
- Experience with FEA analysis (vibration, thermal, linear/non-linear)
- Experience with optical design principles (OPTIS/Light Tools)
- GD&T and Stack-up Analysis work experience
