Role OverviewAs a Mechanical Design Systems Engineer at Chart, you will be responsible for performing and leading design engineering functions, including overall machine and equipment package design, creation of production drawings, and support for new product/project development and product enhancements. You will work on Reciprocating Compressors Packages (Piston and Diaphragm) in North America, specifying and sizing system components, creating equipment production drawings, and performing engineering analyses. You will also develop schedules for project execution, perform technical reviews, and compose technical reports.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent)
- 1+ years of experience in air/gas handling, rotating equipment or turbo machinery
- Ability to perform engineering calculations and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with industry standards (ANSI, ASME, ASTM, API, MIL, SAE)
- Proficiency in engineering software (Creo, ANSYS, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- Willingness to travel as required
