Role OverviewAs a Mechanical EIT/Coordinator at HDR, you will coordinate mechanical aspects of commercial or institutional projects, perform routine mechanical engineering assignments, and utilize engineering software to develop HVAC loads and mechanical equipment selections. You will work independently on small projects or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects. You will also supervise work of Mechanical CAD Technicians and coordinate design of assigned projects with architectural staff and other engineering disciplines.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include coordinating mechanical aspects of projects, performing routine mechanical engineering assignments, writing and editing mechanical specifications, and selecting mechanical systems and devices. You will also prepare construction documents for HVAC and plumbing design of buildings, including drawings, specifications, and reports.

Requirements
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
- Master's degree in Architectural Engineering with Mechanical emphasis
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Trane TRACE or similar software, and equipment selection software)
