Job Description
Role Overview

As a Mechanical EIT/Coordinator at HDR, you will coordinate mechanical aspects of commercial or institutional projects, perform routine mechanical engineering assignments, and write and edit mechanical specifications. You will work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects, and take responsibility for construction contract administration. You will be part of HDR's Building Engineering Services Group, helping design critical infrastructure that supports the digital age and shapes the spaces where people work, connect, and thrive.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include coordinating mechanical aspects of projects, performing routine mechanical engineering assignments, writing and editing mechanical specifications, utilizing engineering software, preparing construction documents, and supervising work of Mechanical CAD Technicians.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Architectural Engineering with Mechanical emphasis
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
  • Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Trane TRACE or similar software, and equipment selection software)
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of HDR's employee-owned culture
