Job Description
HDR is seeking a Mechanical EIT/Designer to join their team in New York. The ideal candidate will have experience designing complex and large-scale healthcare, laboratory, and/or mission critical data center facilities. Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office is also required.

Requirements

  • Support the work of the mechanical design team
  • Write and edit mechanical specifications
  • Understand fan and pump curves
  • Perform psychrometric calculations
  • Develop sections and elevations
  • Develop air and water flow diagrams
  • Coordinate HVAC and/or plumbing system control requirements
  • Review mechanical documents
  • Perform field work and verification of existing conditions
  • Provide construction administration support
