Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanical EIT / Designer to join our team in New York. As an employee-owner, you will be part of a collaborative culture that values inclusion and diversity. You will support the work of the mechanical design team and participate in various project phases.

Requirements

  • Support the work of the mechanical design team
  • Coordinate workload to complete project assignments and deliverables on schedule
  • Participate in work sessions at project site
  • Write and edit mechanical specifications
  • Perform psychrometric calculations
  • Develop sections and elevations for complex ductwork and piping areas
  • Develop air and water flow diagrams
  • Coordinate HVAC and/or plumbing system control requirements
  • Review mechanical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplines
  • Perform field work and verification of existing conditions
  • Provide construction administration support
  • Visit project sites to monitor construction progress
