Job Description
Join AMETEK NSI-MI Technologies as a Mechanical Engineer to lead the development of mechanical products, taking full responsibility for all phases of the project, including design, analysis, documentation, factory integration, and on-site installation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in mechanical engineering
  • 3-5 years of applicable experience
  • Solid foundation in mechanical engineering fundamentals
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD for complex mechanical systems
  • Ability to generate detailed drawings using ANSI Y14.5 GD&T standards
  • Weldment design and documentation per AWS D1.1, D1.2, or equivalent standards
  • Experience with finite element analysis (FEA), including stress, safety margin, buckling, and modal analysis
  • Design of machine elements
  • Understanding of closed-loop servo system optimization
  • Knowledge of classical statics and strength of materials
  • Familiarity with precision machining and welding practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
