Role OverviewWe are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to develop the systems required to launch an Autonomous Enabled Truck. The role involves interface with Product Planning, Marketing & Sales, and Management across all PACCAR Divisions to evaluate customer requirements and definition of vehicle level targets that support launching the next generation of autonomous trucks.
What You Will Do
Lead the development of Level 4 Autonomous Vehicle Platform (AVP) systems through the entire product development process from Project Definition to Product Launch. Develop mechanical system concepts to meet vehicle platform requirements and utilize analytical tools to verify a robust design.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years experience
- Thorough knowledge and experience with CREO / CREO View / Windchill (or similar)
- Strong organizational and documentation skills

- Strong overall knowledge of PACCAR vehicles
- Experience with a Phase Gate development process
- Knowledge in the use of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) tools
