Role OverviewAs a Mechanical Engineer in the HVAC/Plumbing team, you will participate in and lead the engineering and design of HVAC and plumbing systems in various types of facilities. You will focus on designing HVAC and plumbing systems for HyperScale and Colocation Data Center design associated with administrative and support spaces.
What You Will Do
Conduct Data Center airflow CFD modeling for interior and exterior spaces, conduct energy audit/efficiency studies, code review/application, and sustainable design/LEED application of sustainable strategies. Develop engineering skills while working on challenging projects.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Previous experience in Data Center/Mission Critical Design
- Experience with construction support
- Understanding of design differences in Hyper-scale, edge and collation data centers
- Familiarity with Data Center tier rating systems
- Strong knowledge in Autodesk Revit
- Data Center airflow CFD modeling experience for internal and external evaluations
- Computer generated HVAC cooling and heating loads and HVAC equipment sizing
- HVAC system energy modeling and energy code
- Green building initiatives such as LEED
- Technical submittal reviewing process and bid reviewing process for large-scale water and air cooled chiller plants
- International Codes Council (ICC) Suite of Codes, ASHRAE Handbooks/Standards, ASPE design handbooks, and SMACNA Standards
- NFPA Standards
- Attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
