Role Overview

The Mechanical Engineer – Maintenance is responsible for supporting the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of mechanical systems and equipment within a chemical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO). This role focuses on maintenance engineering, equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with site and company EHS and regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do

Provide mechanical engineering support for maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability of process and utility equipment. Support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to improve equipment uptime and lifecycle performance.

Ability to work in a high hazard environment, experience in mechanical integrity and preventative maintenance systems, and strong working knowledge of rotating equipment, process equipment, and piping systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications
  • Experience in mechanical integrity and preventative maintenance systems
  • Experience with engineering software systems such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, data analysis tools, etc.
