Job Description
GIG Nuclear / Generation Industrial & Government. We are a woman/minority-owned full-service engineering, procurement, and project management firm covering power, defense, aerospace, industrial, commercial, and municipal entities. We specialize in power generation and delivery services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering from an accredited university (required)
  • EIT (highly preferred) – or ability to obtain EIT within one year of employment (required)
  • Previous design experience related to modifications in nuclear (DOE or commercial) plants (preferred)
  • Experience working with multiple operating nuclear clients and vendors (preferred)
  • Ability to obtain unescorted access at an operating or construction nuclear plant (required)
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical design codes (ASME, ANSI, API, NFPA)
  • Proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite). Additional software skills including Bluebeam, MicroStation, AutoCAD, Vault, Plant3D, Inventor, ReCap, SolidWorks, FARO Scene, and other 3D rendering programs (preferred)
