Job Description
We have a Mechanical Engineer position open in Orlando, FL. This position is responsible for mechanical engineering on large-scale projects, including mechanical system design, analysis, and installation.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
  • Must be organized, technically competent, and have effective oral and written communications
  • Experience in working in a multi-disciplined environment and interfacing with engineers, designers, and drafters
  • Knowledge of analyzing system design for Hazard analysis development and mitigation
  • Understanding of Class 1 parts and minimizing single points of failure
  • Ability to design and troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic control systems
  • Ability to perform system analysis/calculations including: Stress, fatigue, reliability, life expectancy, tolerance studies
  • Knowledge of ride system design requirements for attractions involving guest accelerations, reach envelope, ingress/egress, weight, and emergency evacuation analysis and implementation
  • Ability to act as technical lead on projects and guide lower-level engineers, technicians, and contractors
  • Ability to act as Project Manager on smaller projects
