Job Description
Textron Systems is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with experience in mechanical design focused on military applications. The candidate should possess good communication and presentation skills and be comfortable interacting with suppliers within a multidiscipline team. This position requires that the candidate be a US citizen with or capable of receiving a secret level security clearance.

Requirements

  • Participating in the detailed design of structural components
  • Being a member of a team responsible for the development and design integration of mechanical components and systems
  • Creation of Technical Data Packages that include 3D drawings, specifications and materials lists for component and assemblies of mechanical and electro-mechanical applications
  • Preparing and directing high quality mechanical and electro-mechanical detail and assembly drawings
  • Transitioning product design to production and test
  • Writing technical and proposal documents
  • Creating detailed design reports and presentations to summarize design/analysis results
