Job Description
CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer Intern/Co-op for Fall 2026. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in Building Systems Mechanical Engineering and possess excellent interpersonal skills. The position provides hands-on training in mechanical/HVAC/Energy design and the opportunity to work on complex MEP projects.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
  • Strong interest in Building Systems Mechanical Engineering
  • AutoCAD and REVIT experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Ability to work full time in our office throughout the co-op term
  • Ability to travel locally for job site inspections, field work, etc.
