Role OverviewJoin MANTECH's team as a Mechanical Engineer to support critical naval aviation infrastructure by designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting complex mechanical systems. This is an onsite position in Lakehurst, NJ.
What You Will Do
Design, analyze, and optimize intricate mechanical components and assemblies, perform structural, thermal, fluid, and bolted-joint analyses, troubleshoot heavy mechanical machinery, and drive engineering investigations into component failures.

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, 3+ years of professional mechanical design experience, and prior experience using CAD software such as ProE/CREO or AutoCAD.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 3+ years of professional mechanical design experience
- Prior experience using CAD software such as ProE/CREO or AutoCAD
- Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Experience applying core engineering concepts professionally, including thermodynamics, materials science, fluid dynamics, and fatigue/fracture mechanics
