Job Description
HDR is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Boston. The role involves supporting the mechanical design team throughout all project phases, from feasibility studies to project close-out. The ideal candidate will have experience designing complex and large-scale healthcare, laboratory, and/or mission critical data center facilities, and will be able to perform psychrometric calculations and develop mechanical specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a mechanical emphasis
  • Previous experience in mechanical system design of commercial or institutional buildings
  • Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
  • Experience in commercial or institutional facilities
  • Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
