Job Description
At HDR, we're seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Boston. As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll support the work of the mechanical design team, coordinate workload, and deliver project assignments on schedule. You'll have the opportunity to work on complex and large-scale healthcare, laboratory, and/or mission critical data center facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a mechanical emphasis
  • Previous experience in mechanical system design of commercial or institutional buildings
  • Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license)
  • Computer experience using MS Office, IES VE or similar HVAC load and performance software, REVIT/BIM modeling software
  • Experience using load calculation software, energy modeling software, and manufacturer equipment selection software
  • Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
