Requirements

  • Provides design engineering support for existing products or product development or research projects
  • Researches, designs, analyzes, and tests products to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles
  • Performs analysis, modeling, prototype, and design of injection molded plastic or die-cast components and enclosures
  • Develops solutions to product problems that arise and implements the solution
  • Communicates ideas and opinions to team members and communicates design changes to affected departments
