Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team supporting the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) at their Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory! This position is full-time and will be based out of Schenectady, NY with hybrid flexibility (up to 20%). Responsibilities include working within a project team environment to support construction projects, developing specifications and cost estimates, and overseeing architectural engineering firms in developing concept designs, construction documents, and cost estimates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Citizenship: United States (U.S.) citizen
  • DOE 'L' Clearance
  • EIT certificate and or P.E. License
  • Engineering consulting experience
  • Working knowledge of ASME codes
  • Working knowledge of HVAC systems
