Role OverviewThe Modulr.Robotics team leads the effort to design the enclosures, chassis, and modular components that bring decentralized robotics to life. We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to create the next generation of mechanical systems for drones, humanoids, and mobile robots built on the Modulr platform.
What You Will Do
Design and develop robotic chassis, enclosures, and modular housings for drones, rovers, and humanoid robots. Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to integrate Jetson-based compute modules, sensors, and actuators.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Design Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design or product development
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalent CAD software
- Strong understanding of materials, tolerances, thermal dynamics, and manufacturing processes
- Experience with robotic assemblies, servo placement, and structural load analysis
- Hands-on prototyping experience with 3D printing, machining, or laser-cut fabrication
