Mechanical Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to provide mechanical design and engineering management to allow the organization to accomplish its goals & objectives. The role involves managing all mechanical design engineering of Batteries, and Battery systems, assisting in equipment and tooling requirements as necessary in 3 different Industries, Rail, Aviation, and Telecom. The Mechanical Engineering Manager will lead a team of Mechanical engineers in research and development of batteries & battery systems including Li-ion batteries.

What You Will Do

The Mechanical Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading technical activities of mechanical team (battery design / component qualification), developing new products and developments in line with the strategic plan and marketing, contributing in the site cost reduction plan, and ensuring support for production, the quality department, and other sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree preferred
• 10-15 years of Product design experience in the Aviation, or Rail markets
• Must have atleast 5 years of experience leading and managing Mechanical Engineers in the design of batteries and battery systems
