Job Description
CCI Mechanical, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to provide detailed and accurate estimates for mechanical projects. The position requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical estimating and a bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering.

Requirements

  • Provide detailed and accurate estimates for mechanical projects
  • Develop pricing models per RFP requirements
  • Develop general and special conditions costs
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to create detailed cost estimates
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to determine the scope of work
  • Utilize estimating software to prepare accurate cost estimates
  • Evaluate and select suitable materials and equipment for projects
  • Prepare and submit bid proposals for mechanical projects
  • Communicate with suppliers and contractors to obtain pricing information
  • Review constructability issues with key operational staff
  • Assist with review of subcontractor proposals to ensure scope coverage; and identify scope gap
  • Maintain and communicate data on construction and material cost trends
  • Ensure pricing model data accuracy
  • Work collaboratively with other team members
  • Ensure effective transfer of awarded projects to field operation staff
  • Effectively communicate price proposal development process to senior management
  • Create/manage multiple estimates simultaneously
  • Professionally communicate in highly stressed environments
