Job Description
Austin Industrial provides premier self-perform maintenance, construction, and soft craft service to leading industrial companies across the U.S. The Mechanical Foreman will provide continuous oversight of execution of maintenance work and ensure that necessary closure and reliability data is promptly inputted for each job.

Requirements

  • Working foreman that can run/supervise a crew of mechanical crafts.
  • Advise management on whether the continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
  • Troubleshoots, repairs and installs industrial mechanical equipment.
  • Must be able to test, calibrate, troubleshoot, overhaul and repair controlling, indicating and measuring instrumentation devices to ensure specified operating performance using hand tools, testing and calibrating instruments and equipment and precision measuring instruments.
  • Must be able to perform work wearing personnel protective equipment.
  • Regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body, able to reach overhead, able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, squatting.
