Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Foreman to work in the field at one of our project sites in the United States. The ideal candidate is a positive force on the jobsite, open to feedback, and hungry to learn. This is a field-based, hands-on position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field.

Requirements

  • Independently perform tasks such as String Line, Laser, Pile Shakeout, Pile Installation, Pile Remediation, Tracker Shakeout, Slew Gear Installation, Torque Tube Installation, Drive Line Installation, Motor Installation, Huck & BOM, MIB, Damper, Module Staging, Module Installation, Tracker QA/QC, Module QA/QC, SPC Controller, Technical Aptitude assistance
  • Train others on at least 1 complete Mechanical Scope (Piles, Tracker, Mods)
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Able to conduct repetitive actions such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
  • Work outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
  • Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others
  • Experience working on construction projects preferred
  • Models behavior in safety, quality of work, attendance and punctuality, productivity, teamwork
