Role OverviewThe Mechanical Inspector and Plans Examiner will conduct examinations of building permit applications, prepare written and electronic reports, and inspect buildings for compliance with the Florida Building Code and other regulations.

Requirements
- State of Florida Plan Review License (PX) in building
- State of Florida Inspector License (BN) in building
- ICC Residential & Commercial Plans Examiner and/or Inspection certification in building
- Knowledge of the Florida Building Code and other regulations pertaining to construction and development
