Role OverviewThe Project Quality Engineer has a dual role, including proactively driving contract reviews, risk identification, and quality planning, and owning warranty claims and investigations from receipt to closure. This role acts as a cross-functional leader working with Project Management, Sales, Engineering, Testing, Field Service, and Quality to ensure lessons learned are acted upon and embedded into new products, projects, and standard product lines, reducing risk, cost, and customer impact.
What You Will Do
Monitor end-to-end warranty process, analyze warranty trends, drive containment and corrective actions, lead contract and project risk reviews, lead cross-functional projects for warranty reduction and product improvements, serve as technical liaison for customers and field service, and develop dashboards for warranty trends and project risks.

Requirements
- 4-year degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
- Three to seven years related experience
- ASQ CQE or equivalent certification
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, weldments, and fabrication
- Experience with failure analysis and root cause investigation
- Proficiency in 8D, A3, CAPA, PFMEA, DFMEA, Control Plans, Inspection Plans
- Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills
- Microsoft Office 365 with fluency in Excel
