Job Description
Colonial Farm Credit is an agricultural credit cooperative seeking a loan officer/loan officer trainee in our Mechanicsville office. The position will serve member customers, formulate business development strategies, and represent the Association at local events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an agricultural field, finance, or economics
  • Residence in territory served by the Mechanicsville office or contiguous counties
  • Familiarity of the service area
  • Agricultural background preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, sales, negotiating, and problem solving skills
  • Computer experience with intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Registration with National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS)
  • Acceptable background reports
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time, stand for limited periods, and walk for moderate distances
