Job Description
AFL is seeking a Mechatronics Technician II to support maintenance and process engineering by installing, improving, and troubleshooting automated equipment. This role will work with PLC-controlled equipment, vision systems, laser scanners, and smart machines in a modern, climate-controlled facility.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, Electrical Technology, or similar
  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience with automated or PLC-controlled equipment
  • Ability to connect to a PLC and troubleshoot using ladder logic
  • Experience with electrical wiring and control panels
  • Mechanical aptitude for assembly, adjustment, and repair
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office; experience with PLC software or SolidWorks is a plus
  • Manufacturing experience (automated assembly, plastics, extrusion) is a plus, not required
