Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive repairs and preventive maintenance on a variety of heavy-duty diesel vehicles, including trucks, buses, and industrial equipment. The candidate will work with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, ensuring that all work is performed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with industry standards. Additionally, the mechanic will provide support to clients through in-person and remote/virtual consultations, advising on necessary repairs or maintenance, ensuring that equipment operates within manufacturer specifications, and maintaining detailed documentation of services to support interactions in the shop and virtually.

Requirements

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical problems in heavy-duty diesel vehicles
  • Perform engine rebuilds, maintenance, and inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance
  • Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as perform complete brake and other related system repairs
  • Complete preventive maintenance tasks, ensuring vehicles are ready to operate safely
  • Test vehicle performance and identify areas requiring repair or replacement
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulatory guidelines during task execution
  • Maintain service records and accurate documentation
  • Ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timelines
