Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Machinery Mechanic to join our team, responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy machinery, both in the field and in the shop. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and clear documentation of repairs and parts used.

Requirements

  • Perform thorough inspections of heavy machinery to identify potential problems
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to evaluate and locate mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical problems
  • Repair critical components of the equipment, including motors, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other critical parts
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake service, fluid checks, filter replacement, and lubrication
  • Travel to work sites as needed to provide on-site diagnosis and repairs
  • Collaborate with other mechanics or supervisors to resolve technical problems or rare issues
  • Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations when working with heavy machinery, tools, and hazardous materials
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, parts used, and work performed on each service
  • Provide detailed reports to supervisors and clients on the equipment's condition, repairs performed, and recommendations for future maintenance
