Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of heavy equipment, including trucks, cranes, excavators, and other large machinery.

Requirements

  • Conduct thorough inspections of heavy equipment (trucks, cranes, construction equipment) to identify potential problems.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to evaluate and locate mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical issues.
  • Repair major components of equipment, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other critical parts.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake service, fluid checks, filter replacements, and lubrication, to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
  • Travel to work sites as needed to provide on-site diagnosis and repairs.
  • Work both in the field and in the workshop, depending on job requirements and equipment condition.
  • Analyze and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues, implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics or supervisors to resolve difficult or uncommon technical problems.
  • Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations when working with heavy equipment, tools, and hazardous materials.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed in accordance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Maintain precise records of all repairs, maintenance, parts used, and work performed in each service.
  • Provide detailed reports to supervisors and clients on equipment condition, repairs made, and recommendations for future maintenance.
  • Use diagnostic tools and repair equipment properly, keeping them in excellent condition.
  • Notify management promptly of damaged, missing, or defective equipment for replacement or repair.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies, machinery, and diagnostic methods in the heavy equipment industry.
  • Participate in training programs, certifications, and relevant workshops to improve skills and knowledge.
