Requirements

  • Perform thorough inspections of heavy machinery
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
  • Repair main components of equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Travel to work sites as needed
  • Work both in the field and in the shop
  • Analyze and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems
  • Collaborate with other mechanics or supervisors
  • Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, parts used, and work performed
  • Provide detailed reports to supervisors and clients
  • Use diagnostic tools and repair equipment properly
  • Inform management promptly of damaged, missing, or defective equipment
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, machinery, and diagnostic methods
  • Participate in training programs, certifications, and relevant workshops
