Job Description
We are looking for a Heavy Machinery Mechanic with experience to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of heavy machinery, such as trucks, cranes, excavators, and other large equipment.
Requirements
Performing thorough inspections of heavy machinery (trucks, cranes, construction equipment) to identify potential problems.
Using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to evaluate and locate mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical problems.
Repairing main components of equipment, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other critical parts.
Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake service, fluid reviews, filter replacement, and lubrication, to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
Traveling to work sites as needed to provide on-site diagnosis and repairs.
Working both in the field and in the workshop, depending on the requirements of the job and the condition of the equipment.
Analyzing and resolving complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems, implementing effective solutions.
Collaborating with other mechanics or supervisors to resolve difficult or unusual technical problems.
Following all safety protocols and industry regulations when working with heavy machinery, tools, and hazardous materials.
Ensuring that all repairs and maintenance are performed in compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Maintaining accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, parts used, and work performed on each service.
Providing detailed reports to supervisors and customers on the condition of the equipment, repairs made, and recommendations for future maintenance.
Using diagnostic tools and repair equipment properly, keeping them in excellent condition.
Reporting promptly to management about damaged, missing, or defective equipment for replacement or repair.
Staying informed about the latest technologies, machinery, and diagnostic methods in the heavy machinery industry.
Participating in training programs, certifications, and relevant workshops to improve skills and knowledge.
