Requirements

• Conduct thorough inspections of heavy equipment (trucks, cranes, construction equipment) to identify potential problems.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to evaluate and locate mechanical, hydraulic or electrical problems.
• Repair main components of equipment, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems and other critical parts.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake service, fluid checks, filter replacement and lubrication, to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
• Travel to work sites as needed to provide on-site diagnosis and repair.
• Work both in the field and in the workshop, depending on job requirements and equipment condition.
• Analyze and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic and electrical problems, implementing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with other mechanics or supervisors to resolve technical problems difficult or uncommon.
• Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations when working with heavy machinery, tools and hazardous materials.
• Ensure that all repairs and maintenance are performed in accordance with safety and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, used parts and work performed on each service.
• Provide detailed reports to supervisors and clients on equipment condition, repairs made and recommendations for future maintenance.
• Use diagnostic tools and repair equipment effectively, keeping them in excellent condition.
• Notify management promptly of damaged, missing or defective equipment for replacement or repair.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies, machinery and diagnostic methods in the heavy machinery industry.
• Participate in training programs, certifications and relevant workshops to improve skills and knowledge.
