Job Description
We are seeking a Heavy Machinery Mechanic with experience to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of heavy machinery, such as trucks, cranes, excavators, and other large equipment.
Requirements
Conduct thorough inspections of heavy machinery (trucks, cranes, construction equipment) to identify potential problems.
Use advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to evaluate and locate mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical problems.
Repair critical components of the equipment, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other critical parts.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, brake service, fluid checks, filter replacement, and lubrication, to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
Travel to work sites as needed to provide on-site diagnosis and repair.
Work both in the field and in the shop, depending on the job requirements and equipment status.
Analyze and resolve complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems, implementing effective solutions.
Collaborate with other mechanics or supervisors to resolve difficult or uncommon technical problems.
Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations when working with heavy machinery, tools, and hazardous materials.
Ensure that all repairs and maintenance are performed in accordance with safety and environmental standards.
Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, parts used, and work performed on each service.
Provide detailed reports to supervisors and clients on equipment status, repairs performed, and recommendations for future maintenance.
Use diagnostic tools and repair equipment effectively, keeping them in excellent condition.
Inform management promptly of damaged, missing, or defective equipment for replacement or repair.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, machinery, and diagnostic methods in the heavy machinery industry.
Participate in relevant training programs, certifications, and workshops to improve skills and knowledge.
