Job Description
The motorcycle mechanic specializes in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining motorcycles and other motorized sports vehicles. The role involves making diagnoses, repairing engines, fine-tuning and addressing electrical issues to ensure that the vehicles are in optimal working condition. The mechanic must comply with safety protocols and ensure that each vehicle meets regulatory standards. Additionally, the mechanic will provide support to customers both in person and through remote or virtual consultations, advising on necessary repairs or maintenance, ensuring that the vehicles operate in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, and maintaining detailed documentation of the service to support both in-shop and virtual interactions.

Requirements

  • Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems in motorcycles and motorized sports vehicles.
  • Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other mechanical components.
  • Fine-tune engines for optimal performance and address any electrical failure.
  • Follow procedures and safety guidelines during repairs to ensure a safe and effective service.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards in all repair work.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and vehicle service history for future references.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions about repairs and offering maintenance advice.
