Job Description
The Med Surg RN Full Time Days Pediatric Unit position is a nursing role that requires the delivery of high-quality patient care to pediatric patients in a medical-surgical setting. The nurse will work under the direction of a physician and the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act to provide evidence-based care, make continuing assessments, and develop and implement a nursing plan of care. The nurse will also be responsible for maintaining BLS and ACLS certifications and participating in continuing education.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate of a Nursing Diploma program
  • Current, valid Arizona RN license or compact state RN license
  • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • PALS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required within 6 months of hire
  • Basic EKG competency within 3 months of hire
