Role OverviewThe Med Tech is responsible for carrying out ADL services to residents in accordance with their service plan. Duties include providing medication management services, personal care, and communicating with medical professionals.
What You Will Do
Follows services outlined in each resident's service plan, documents completion of tasks, and communicates with other Med Techs about resident needs.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must possess understanding of medical terminology, adequate to pass medications and communicate with medical professionals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- One year of experience in a caregiving role or similar function
- State Required HHA Certification or CNA License
- Supervisory experience of six months or more in a health-related field
