Job Description
The Ohio Department of Medicaid is seeking a Media and Content Manager to join their Communication Team. This role involves shaping how ODM's programs, policies, and strategic initiatives are communicated to diverse audiences, creating high-quality written and digital content, and assisting with the development of communications. The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing experience, media relations, and content strategy skills.

Requirements

  • Planning and administering ODM's overall public information program
  • Creating and editing high-quality written and digital content
  • Translating complex policy and program details into accessible narratives
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts and senior staff
  • 12-36 months of experience in journalism or communication, or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
