Job Description
The NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) seeks a Mediator and Intake Specialist to mediate consumer complaints and provide support to businesses. The role involves communicating with consumers and businesses, analyzing complaints, and maintaining databases. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and 1 year of clerical experience.

Requirements

  • A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization
  • One year of satisfactory clerical experience
  • Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute
