Role OverviewAs the Medicaid subject matter expert, the Medicaid Application Coordinator will ensure compliance with State and County guidelines, oversee the Medicaid and Benevolent Care application process, and collaborate with clinical and operational teams.

The Medicaid Application Coordinator will serve as the Medicaid subject matter expert, review Medicaid Pending and Patient Liability aging, assist Facility Billing Counselors, and update income changes for recipients.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent years of related work experience
- One (1) to Two (2) years of accounting experience with a computerized accounting system
- Two (2) to five (5) years of Medicaid application experience
- High level of personal accountability, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to work and think strategically, identify and implement efficiencies
- Excellent communications skills
- Comfort with technology; ability to adapt and effectively utilize various software platforms
- Above average knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and databases and/or data management tools
