Job Description
This is a benefited, full-time position, typically working Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., located at the Anderson Medical Pavilion in La Jolla. The Medical Assistant will perform back-office responsibilities, room patients, check vitals, assist with procedures, and maintain a clean and organized environment.

Requirements

  • Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program or a minimum of two years of experience as a Military Corpsman or Medical Assistant Certification
  • BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • One year of previous MA experience in the given department
  • Cardiology experience
